An Easy Transition to Your New Home: An Interview with NetMove Atlanta

By Kristen Bosse

Please describe a little bit about your company and the services you offer.

We are Atlanta's preferred mover for over 15 years, and have 18 vehicles to service both local and long distance moving. We have a 75,000 square foot private storage facility and are an agent for Wheaton Van Lines.

We have all full-time employees-not day laborers. We have a perfect record with the BBB with Zero complaints in since our inception. Most of our business comes from realtors including preferred vendor status with Keller Williams, Harry Norman, Sotheby's International, Prudential, Coldwell Banker and Dorsey Alston, just to name a few.

What is your specific position at NetMove?

I am the Sales Manager for NetMove Atlanta.

Are there any specific responsibilities you ask of your clients prior to the move-in and on the actual move date?

Just to be ready for a smooth and easy relocation from our team.

Are you part of any industry organizations?

American Moving and Storage Association, Ga. Movers Association.

What are the advantages of working with a smaller company such as yourselves rather than companies such as UHAUL or ENTERPRISE?

We do all the work, and you sit back and enjoy the experience.

How do you make sure your employees are prepared for each move?

We have a list of items and a bill of lading created by our dispatch team in advance of each move to make sure all the required items are on truck prior to leaving warehouse.

What are some things you do to make sure the customer's move runs as smoothly as possible?

We have a van foremen on every job, and have a phone # that is answered 24/7 in case a customer has an emergency situation. A staff member is always available and dedicated to their move.

What specific qualities should a customer look for in a qualified and reliable moving company?

Testimonials, Insurance, Guaranteed Pricing, Full-Time Employees, Perfect BBB record, In-Home estimates.

What are some common mistakes that homeowners make when preparing for their move?

Calling a broker on the phone from an online search, not having enough supplies if they are packing themselves, and not having an in-home estimate from their mover in advance.

What is the best way for people to get in contact with you?
