Innovative Individual and Group Training at Bodyplex Fitness

By Marina I. Jokic

At Bodyplex Fitness, you will find a varied menu of exercise routines to fit any level and preference. Founded and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Bodyplex sports sixteen locations across Georgia and Puerto Rico. Founder Cleve Long describes the appeal of his fitness enterprise, some the newest workouts, and the constantly changing fitness landscape.

Bodyplex is not an average gym that simply offers access to equipment. Instead, its main goal is to inspire people to adopt an active lifestyle and to stick to it indefinitely. Additionally, Long says that "our goal is to create and deliver an entertaining, anticipated and rewarding fitness experience for all who choose us."

The trick to heightening people's enthusiasm toward working out is to deliver some of the most engaging and effective workout routines in the industry as well as world-class equipment. The experience at Bodyplex can be tailored to provide as little or as much guidance as a person prefers with the ultimate goal of getting in shape and staying healthy.

"At Bodyplex, we have an abundance of the industry's best equipment including circuit, free-weights and cardio machines with integrated televisions at each side," Long points out. With the newest equipment and a dynamic atmosphere, people are driven to achieve their fitness goals either on their own or with a personal trainer.

In addition to the brand-new equipment, Bodyplex also offers a wide variety of group fitness classes since it is a licensed provider of Les Mills programming including the world's most popular barbell class Bodypump. As part of the Les Mills array of classes are RPM indoor cycling, BodyCombat, BodyJam, BodyFlow, BodyStep and BodyAttack. For dancing enthusiasts, there is the popular Zumba class, and for the more senior participants, the Silver Sneakers class is specifically designed to address age-specific fitness concerns.

For those who need a little extra motivation, perhaps joining the various group fitness classes is the answer. Bodyplex offers personal training, semi-private classes featuring two to four people, and a team training through the Grind Cross-training Club, and GRIT, a thirty-minute intense interval training session. Interval training has been shown to produce fast results in a shorter amount of time, which can be beneficial for those who want immediate results, for instance.

Long considers Bodyplex to be unique in the level of guidance and attention it gives it patrons, and highly encourages people to partake in the different programs. "At Bodyplex we are intentional about providing the best group fitness programming on the planet along with the most current, proven training programs in the industry.

A notch above is the VIP access zone at Bodyplex, which grants access to the entire facility and all group fitness classes excluding training programs. "Bodyplex decided long ago that anyone could sell people access to gym equipment and that we would differentiate ourselves by providing an assessment and complimentary program design to all new members," Long adds.

All in all, Bodyplex endeavors to set itself apart from competitors through a more personalized approach to fitness, better equipment, and a passionate and driven training staff. As a quick way to decide if Bodyplex is right for you, Long recommends the Bodyplex VIP Test Drive which grants three days of free access.
