Gym 360: Not just a Gym- But a Movement!

By Elisha Neubauer

Gym 360 is more than just a gym. In fact, it's a movement. If you ask Wilbur Little, owner of Gym 360, it is considered a full-service fitness center with a focus on promoting health and wellness. "Our motto is that 'We are not just a gym, we are a movement,'" says Little. "We offer group classes and personal training to individuals that are looking so start or maintain a healthy lifestyle." The facility promotes a family atmosphere, which is encouraging and competitive without being overbearing.

The entire concept of Gym 360 is based on 'Group Fitness,' which, although not a new format of physical exercise, has been picking up steam in the industry over the last several years. Over the course of his career, Little has observed a trend in workouts. When people feel fatigue, or aren't truly invested and enjoying their workout, they tend to operate at an intensity that isn't quite enough to reach significant gains. Obviously, when one is already not invested in the workout, if palpable gains are not being achieved, they likely won't continue. People, as a whole, generally need motivation.

"We believe that an instructed group fitness class with proper instruction and motivation will give people the push they need to reach goals that they may not gain working out alone," states Little. "Working in a group atmosphere with others who are striving for the same or similar goals is also a motivator within itself."

Another factor which helps increase the popularity of Gym 360 over the average gym facility is the class roster. No need to worry about getting bored here?Gym 360 has a stunning variety of activities designed to enhance your workout, motivate your desire, and achieve results. Classes available include boxing, strength training, ab blast, circuit training and much more. Also available in order to truly tailor your workout to meet your own individual needs is personal training, athlete's training, and kids' fitness classes.

In addition to the fitness classes available is the Run 360 program. "Run 360 is our running club that began in 2012 with the intent on adding more cardio to our program and offering a free running group to the community," Little explailns. "We meet on Saturdays at 8am and everyone is welcome to join us." The Club also meets and participates in local 5k, 10k, half marathons, and other similar events. Not a runner? Don't fret- Little claims all abilities are welcome including runners, walkers, and joggers.
