Sweet Rides with Greene Worldwide Transportation

By Elisha Neubauer

Jeff Greene, president of Greene Worldwide Transportation didn't set out with the vision of operating a premier fleet of ground transportation. In fact, he took several paths before finding his way to the luxury transportation industry. "I became a paramedic for Grady Ambulance while I was going to college," explains Greene. Then he became an Atlanta police officer: "I patrolled for five years and then transferred to the Helicopter squad, where I was a pilot for nine years." It was during these years of patrolling the streets and skies of Atlanta that Greene discovered a missing function in the area - there was a severe need for a good, reliable limousine service.

This epiphany led to the creation of Greene Classic Limousines. The company grew quickly, morphing into Greene Worldwide Transportation. From there, the company went on to be named "Best Limousine Service in America" by Limousine and Chauffeured Transportation Magazine. When asked what he believes led to the company's success, Greene responds: "That is easy. Listening, treating and providing customers with the best possible customer service experience that leaves them saying 'WOW.'"

Greene Worldwide Transportation offers everything from Lincoln stretch limousines, to mini buses and motor coaches. Most frequently, Greene finds his company's services being called upon for events such as bachelor and bachelorette parties, weddings, birthday parties, special events, and nights out on the town.

Besides the obvious "cool factor" of arriving in a limo, what benefit is there to hiring one? For rowdy late night folks, it might be a safety matter. "People who hire limos save tens of thousands of dollars for not driving while intoxicated," says Greene.

While Greene Worldwide Transportation does offer transportation outside of the Atlanta area, the company has made the city its home base of operations. "I love Atlanta," says Greene. "Its southern hospitality, its diverse culinary experiences, sports, and the weather. I am a native and it is the only true home I know."
