For Over 40 Years, Carlyle's Catering Has Remained An Atlanta Favorite

When Carlyle's Catering first opened for business over 40 years ago, it actually operated as several cafes and delis serving office buildings in the Atlanta area. Today, it's the go-to catering company for a variety of events from company outings to wedding receptions and still based in Atlanta.

"Over time the demand for in-office catering for meetings and events grew so we opened our midtown commissary that we operate out of now, which has allowed us to cater to larger special events as well as our everyday delivery clientele," explained Sophia, Garcia, the company's inside sales support specialist. "Basically, we have evolved with demand into what is now Carlyle's Catering."

The family-owned catering company offers two tiers of services: corporate catering and event catering. The corporate catering menus are popular for office breakfasts and lunches and include hot catered entrees, several breakfast options, fresh salads, deli selections such as sandwiches and boxed meals. For customers seeking customization and a "wow" factor, the event catering tier presents more creatively displayed food and is often used for weddings, showers, anniversaries, fundraisers, and more. On-site servers and event planners also come with event catering options to help make any occasion successful.

Event catering menus include options for hot and cold appetizers, carving and action stations, passed hors d'oeuvres, dessert bars, and more. The flavor combinations are creative, such as crab cakes served atop julienned Granny Smith apples, jicama, and lemon aoili, or oyster shooters with grapefruit mignonette and grated horseradish. The company uses the freshest ingredients and as one Yelper noted, their southern-inspired dishes and sides are relatively non-greasy compared to their competitors.

Carlyle's Catering also specializes in rental equipment for special events, and can assist clients with all of their rental needs including custom linens, tents, floral arrangements, decor, and even games and entertainment. Sommelier and bar tending service is also available. The company's team can recommend appropriate venues in the Atlanta area for any type of event. Some of the locations they've catered at include the Buckhead Theater, Monday Night Brewing, Mercer University, the Fuse Arts Center, and many more.

Holiday meals are another Carlyle's Catering specialty. They can provide complete meals for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Valentine's Day, and more to help anyone take a day off form cooking on their favorite holiday. They can also accommodate clients with dietary needs such those that require vegan, gluten-free, or lactose intolerant meals.

According to Garcia, the key to Carlyle's Catering's success and staying power is the staff's commitment to each client.

"Whether that is for an in-office luncheon, a wedding, or a multi-day convention, our team really works with each client to meet their personal needs. There is an extra level of care and attention that goes into each and every event that we are lucky enough to be a part of."
