Folks are Enjoying Every Bite at Fussell Cake Company

"We bring wholesome, good food, like what you remember your grandma used to make," says Fussell of her company's concept. Listening to their customers and being receptive to their suggestions has been instrumental in improving the products and services at Fussell. Catering to a variety of venues such as weddings, board meetings, casual meetups, and even family picnics, Fussell has always been committed to serving delicious food to the community of Bethlehem, Georgia.

Other important ways in which the business gives back to the community are volunteering and donations. Whether it's devoting their time to feeding the homeless and encouraging people to participate in their F4 Project (donating cakes to families during the holidays) Fussell's employees do their part to improve the lives of Bethlehem's residents. The company also gives a portion of its profits to charity.

Master Chef Darryl has worked tirelessly for ten years to develop their signature pound cake named "Fussell Cake," which has garnered a serious fan base.  There is also plenty of unique baked treats to choose from like warm cookies and succulent brownies. Fussell has just rolled out the new gourmet banana pudding, a homemade ambrosia featuring handcrafted wafers. The Butter Rum Glazed Pound Cake is another fan favorite, their spin on the classic pound cake, and is basted to perfection with their proprietary rum glaze.

"We take pride in all our products but our specialty is our desserts," adds Fussell.  Their signature pound cake is available daily in six different flavors and they also feature a specialty flavor cake for each month of the year, making up eighteen different cakes in total. This month, the specialty cake is Pumpkin Spice.

Fussell's catering portfolio is best known for its sweets, although they do have plenty of savory foods as well. "Our pasta dishes are all the rave, and our handcrafted garlic bread is addictive," says Fussell. But more than anything, they stress fresh, local, and healthy ingredients in their foods. "We have had a few clients say our food was better that their mother's cooking," Fussell exclaims.

Their catering service has perfected the ordering and delivery process so that clients can relax and focus their energy on enjoying the food. For large production events such as weddings, Fussell even provides consulting services as well as design and decoration advice.
