Camp Mimi Premier Pet Resort is a Doggy Dream Come True

By Elisha Neubauer

The Camp Mimi Pet Resort is basically a doggy dream come true. With eight beautifully wooded (and secure) acres, sprinklers, agility equipment, and a bone-shaped, heated swimming pool, there's something for every pet to kick back and enjoy their stay. Each pet is treated like family, giving it that special, loving touch that is lacking in most kennels.

"Camp Mimi is located in a natural setting that is spread out over eight beautifully wooded acres, allowing your pup to run and play till their hearts desire in a safe and secure setting," says Mimi, owner of Camp Mimi Pet Resort. "They can run through the woods romping and playing with all the other dogs, roll around in the grass or just laze about on the shaded back deck, where there is always access to extra-large water buckets."

When the pups have finished their 6-8 hour supervised outdoor playtime, they can come inside to find the same level of luxuries and amenities available. This includes relaxation music and their own Kauranda beds, provided by Camp Mimi. "Each suite is climate controlled, cage-free, and offers an automatic waterer and has an outdoor covered courtyard with play yard access," Mimi explains.

"Our pups also have the option of enjoying the special 'S-PAW' treatments we offer such as a luxurious bath to wash away the dirt of the day, a nail trim when those nails are getting just a bit too long, or even a nice brush out to keep their coats looking beautiful," Mimi exclaims. "Either way, your pup will rest easy and be refreshed and excited to see you at the end of their visit."

For the kitty campers, they have their own secluded area separate from the dogs. The Kitty Cottage includes large sunny windows overlooking the camp grounds, cozy three-leveled cottages, and supervised time in 'Kitty Play Land' (complete with perches, carpeted cat trees, and toys).

To ensure your pet receives the upmost care and attention, Mimi restricts the number of residents to 20 animals per day. "Additionally, my home is physically attached to our facility providing 24/7 care and attention," says Mimi. "And to ease your mind, you can check in on their progress, and enjoy the delightful daily pictures that we post on our Facebook page under Camp Mimi Pet Resort."
